  1. A style of play characterized by checking and calling. Example: Who frequently checks or calls even when betting, raising, or reraising may be advisable; tending to make the minimum allowable wager necessary to maintain a stake in the pot; weak; as opposed to aggressive.
  2. Conducted with a tendency to wager as little money as possible while staying in the pot; weakly.
